The beautiful market town of Wareham dates back to the Iron age but was given its name by the Saxons meaning 'town by the weir' and famous for being surrounded by its original Saxon walls. It has also managed to retain many of its historic features without spoiling its country atmosphere. Offering most modern day facilities including a large variety of shops, bars and restaurants, schools, leisure centre, health centre and main line railway station with regular services between London Waterloo and Weymouth.

Nestled between the rivers Piddle and Frome, boasting a picturesque quay with tidal waters to Poole Harbour and the channel. Wareham is a perfect central position, within commuting distance of the capital yet on the door step to the Isle of Purbeck. With its stunning rolling hillside, dramatic coastline which vary from the fabulous golden sands of Studland and Swanage to the dramatic cliffs of Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove, steeped in smuggling legend and not forgetting the historic ruins of Corfe Castle dominating the skyline for miles.
